McDowell Mountain Golf Club – Living

The new McDowell Mountain Golf Club has created a great sense of renewal within the McDowell Mountain Ranch community. This new golf club continues to get great reviews and publicity. What is that doing to the real estate in the community of McDowell Mountain Ranch? It’s only making it better!

McDowell Mountain Golf Club

The McDowell Mountain Golf Club, formerly Sanctuary, re-opened about a month ago to an eager crowd of people that either live in the community or admire the community and golf in general. Phil Mickelson was there for the opening and the excitement was high. Living within the community myself I have watched as the changes have been made and was happy to hear that people are enjoying what has been done. I wrote a blog when I first learned about what was going on at the McDowell Mountain Golf Club, and have received phone calls asking about it and a comment letting me & others know how positive they feel about the new Club. I love hearing it all!

As a real estate agent I also look at the numbers in the community on a daily basis and believe that the new McDowell Mountain Golf Club is having a positive affect on the community and real estate pricing. Within McDowell Mountain Ranch the inventory is very low and the prices have shown some positive growth. When I talk to buyers & sellers I often find that they have some confusion about the market, which is understandable, the media does not seem to know which way things are going from an almost hour to hour basis. This is why, for me, it is important to watch the market intently.

Here is what I am seeing… we have stabilized and are beginning to see positive price growth in specific areas, McDowell Mountain Ranch happens to be one of those. Sellers, our current inventory is VERY low and some homes are receiving multiple offers and it feels like the days of old. Buyers, it is important to move quickly when you find what you want. I am not a proponent of pushing anyone to make a move I do not feel they are ready to make but when we discuss what they would like to do and they tell me they really like something I tell them to move & quickly. Some of my buyers have lost multiple homes over the past year because they don’t believe they need to move as quickly as they do.

Take a look at the market update that I have for the over all Scottsdale market. This will show month over month what is going on there. If you would like to know more about the 85255 zip code, which is where McDowell Mountain Ranch falls let me know I can always send that to you.
